It actually does more than simply boosting the skin hydration and has advantages over other skin boosters.

As with most treatments where injections are involved, typical side effects of Profhilo include mild swelling up to 72 hours, but, these should only last for a few days.
Profhilo contains the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid of any injectable product.
When injected into the dermis of the skin the it stimulates collagen and elastin production and attracts water into the skin.
The ageing process means that the skin gradually loses its collagen and elastin fibres as well as a reduction in hydration of the skin, with loss of firmness and skin tone.
Profhilo helps to reverse this process by ‘boosting’ the hydration. This is why it is often referred to as a ‘skin booster’.
Profhilo is injected by Dr Wafaa directly into the dermis of the skin.
On the face it is injected at multiple points and the hyaluronic acid diffuses into the skin over a certain area.
It can also be used on the neck and may be used on the decolletage and hands.
It is important to remember that the effects of treatment are not instant like other true dermal filler materials.

This a gel made up of concentrated hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance found in the skin and contained in various types of dermal fillers.
